‘TC’ (“Top Cat”)
Born Circa 2003 -
Died Thursday, October 24th, 2013
will miss dearly, one of the smartest, loving companions,
Anyone could ever have the pleasure
and fortune of living with. ...
Virginia discovered this wonderful
creation of God, sitting next to a large county dumpster. She opened her car door, and asked this cat; “Hi there,
would you like to come home and live with us?” To which he replied “YES!” (in cat meow)
and promptly jumped in the car. ...
“TC” (who we named after the Hanna Barbera
cartoon character; “Top Cat”) stayed with us, until the time allotted to him by the great creator
was up. Everyday, when I came home from work, he would greet me at the door, talking about how his day
went. After I stowed my gear away and went to my office, to do my daily ‘web-work,’ he would come rushing in,
put his front paws upon my knee, and proceed to talk, and talk, and talk, telling me ALL about everything, that went
on with him that day. Later on in the evening, - when it was bedtime - he would jump-up on my stomach, ... stare
at me for a minute or two, (we assume for approval) then do three, to four turns, before finally ‘settling
down.’ (“TC” always purred loudly while he slept.) In the morning, he would
get up when I did, following me everywhere, waiting for the moment I would wake Virginia up for her morning “cup-o-joe.”
While Virginia and I would be drinking our coffee, (discussing politics, world events, and our day to be) “TC”
would ALWAYS, (sometimes incessantly) join-in on the conversation, talking about, well, -- everything
on HIS mind.
“TC” Was A Very Special Cat, Who We’ll Miss Dearly.
Bye, Sweet Boy, ...
We’ll Be Looking For You, On ‘The Other Side.’”
Always, Dan & Virginia
